Initially 5 mg once daily, may be increased to 10 mg once daily after at least 2 wk. Max: 10 mg. Elderly & patient w/ mild to moderate liver impairment Initially 2.5 mg once daily.
Conduction disorders, heart failure, tachycardia & haemodynamically relevant aortic &/or mitral valve stenosis. Avoid abrupt discontinuation as hypertensive crisis may occur. Mild to moderate hepatic impairment. May impair ability to drive or use machines. Lactation. Not to be used in childn.
